Started off with an big vision and tried to implement it. It all became very complicated for us to even think of LEBTOP. Finally we said, Lets K.I.S.S ! - Keep it Simple Silly.
And so, now we have a simple concept. A concept of "Call Forwarding" to good English speakers.
We have chopped off stuff such as "Users grading one another" and "Users Earning Minutes on Teaching" ,etc.
Removing these complexities made it possible to at least try to implement the concept. The one basic concept- the foundation of LEBTOP that "Languages can be Learnt by Talking".
We thought we should give it a try.
So we came up with this simple way of implementing it:
We have a landline phone and a list of people we know who speak good English. We have asked these people to make themselves available for LEBTOP for 30 mins (at different times) on Saturday and Sunday.
It was a Month long wait for us to get the "Call Forwarding" service on our Landline phone 022-27750079 .
So now, on weekends, any calls recieved on our Landline will be forwarded to one of our available Micro-Volunteer's. Thus Callers will get to speak to a better speaker.
